If you make an adoption plan and the father signs relenquishment… les the agency have to inform the birthfather if the birthmother decides not to go through with the adoption plan?

I'm at a loss, I know what I want to do career wise but have no idea what degree to shoot for. Can anyone help clarify what needs to be taken in school in order to work in an adoption agency?

I'm interested in adopting a child. My sister didn't have any children and ended up adopting identical twin girls from Eastern Europe, they are 13 and have cerebral palsy and both can't walk. They are very beautiful and sweet and my sister is very close to them….Is it generally easier to adopt an older child? What about an older child with a physical disability? (I'm not interested in those with low mental function though). How hard is it compared to adopting a baby?

I was looking for Information on Friends of Children, the adoption agency in Atlanta, or I guess an adoption agency in Atlanta that used to exsist, because I cant find any information on it. I would really appreciate it if anyone knew anything about them, or what happened to them. Thanks!

I'm going to adopt a monkey. I live in the "country" where you are allowed to keep farm animals, so is it legal to keep a pet monkey in the state of Kentucky?
I see no reason why it should be illegal.

I recently learned about all of the devastation in Haiti and I would like to help. I would really like to adopt a child from there. I have heard lots of horror stories with adopting children from out of the country. I read somewhere that you can be single but if married you have to be married at least 10 years….huh! Weird!

I am a 18 year old male living in Houston, Texas, USA. Someday I plan to adopt children from foreign countries (Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, etc..). You might say that I'm the "male version" of Angelina Jolie. I want to adopt foreign children, but I'm not sure about which age at which you can legally do it. PLEASE HELP!!!
