Okay, so my character is about to go into an adoption agency that she had been adopted at to find out about her biological parents. What would the levels be? I mean, would there be a front desk with a secretary? What other types of job positions would it have?

It’s illegal for people to sell their children to one another – a law I think we probably need to keep – so why are adoption agencies allowed to charge prospective parents more than the procedural costs? In doing so, they’re making a profit off of the transfer of a child from one family to another, which is the same thing as selling them. Shouldn’t adoption agencies be run by the government or forced to become non-profit organizations?

My husband and I are looking for an adoption agency in Texas. We would like a newborn domestic adoption with a low cost. Is there such a thing? All the info I can find has the price starting around ,000….is there anything cheaper?!
