Does anyone know a good adoption agency in Georgia? I would like to hear stories if you do! We are looking into adoption and we are filling out paperwork for a homestudy,

Your local DHS office facilitates adoption of waiting children through foster care. Check in your state if you have to foster to adopt, or if you can go straight to adoption of children who are already waiting for adoption.
I live in Texas. We have adopted before and are looking into adoption again. We are going to adopt or foster a child that is biracial or African American. I’ve been looking into agencies that really need people who would be willing to adopt a child who is biracial or AA. I found an agency in Georgia called Valley of Hope. I think their website is valleyofhope.net. You should check them out. If you would be willing to open your home to any child regardless of race or gender, I don’t think you would have any problem adopting in Georgia.
I’m in GA, too… I just started looking into the Foster to Adopt program. Try http://www.dfcs.dhr.georgia.gov/adoptions or call 1-877-210-5437. They can get you started! Good luck!
