How long is the average wait?


It depends on how aggressive you wish to pursue a placement. Since we do not have a waiting list, the wait varies quite a bit.




Can my homestudy be used elsewhere?


Our homestudies for domestic adoption are valid in the state of Indiana. We are also able to complete homestudies for International adoption and will gladly work with your International agency to do so.




I already have a homestudy, will Loving Option accept this homestudy?


We will accept most home studies, although we will ask that you fulfill our supporting document requirements as well. We will do our own update. The charge is $50/hour with a minimum of $150, plus mileage.




If we find a child on our own, will we have to pay a placement fee to Loving Option?


No. We are glad to be able to be of service to individuals. We would be available to do the final homestudy visits the Court requires, though. Our fee for this service is $200 per hour plus mileage.

$1,575 + mileage

12% of Gross Annual Income
(never less than $8,000 and never more than $12,500)
