You first must complete an application, which
can be picked up at our office or you can download it on
the applications page. |
| |

| |
Once the completed application has reached our office,
we begin the process of setting up appointments. |
| |
|
| |
You will first meet with our social worker in
our office or other convenient location. |
| |
|
| |
At this first meeting, the social worker will cover many
questions that will also be asked on homework questions
that are sent home with you. |
| |
|
| |
An additional meeting will be scheduled for an in-home
visit, which is generally set so that we might be able
to tell birthparents about the home and to ascertain the
safety and health conditions related to raising a child. |
| |
|
| |
Once these two meetings are completed, homework returned
to the office, and reference letters returned, we begin
the task of putting together the homestudy. |
| |
|
| |
After the initial homestudy is completed, a copy is sent
to you for review, modifications/corrections,
or approval. |
| |
|
| |
When the homestudy has been approved by you, a simple
non-identifying profile is created and kept on file awaiting
a birthmother's selection. |
| |
|
| |
When you are chosen, we will notify you as soon as the
birthmother's decision is certain. |
| |
|
| |
You will then be asked to verify that these are the circumstances
under which you would accept a placement. |
| |
|
| |
All that is left is to wait for the relinquishment papers
to be signed by the birthmother. |

What are the fees involved?
Application Fee:
$200.00
Administration Fee:
$100.00
Homestudy Fee:
$1,375.00
Paid at time of 1st office visit.
International Homestudy Fee:
$1,575 + mileage
(does not include post-placement visits)
Placement Fee:
12% of Gross Annual Income
(never less than $8,000 and never more than $12,500)
