Dear Friend,

Without ever having met you, we already admire your love and concern for the child that you are carrying.  The decision to place your baby for adoption is such a selfless act and shows that you are a person that truly has your baby’s best interest at heart.

We want to share a little bit about ourselves with you.  We are both 34 years old and celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary on June 20th.  We live on a small farm where we currently have 2 cows and 11 pigs along with a few outdoor cats (we’re still not sure where these guys came from!).  We recently lost our dog, Cecil, which was very traumatic for us.  We never thought we would become so attached to an animal but we both did and it was hard losing him. We live on a quiet road in the country on about 2 ½ acres with a nice yard and one of the biggest trees that most people have ever seen!  The neatest part is that our house was built in the late 1800’s by a member of John’s family and has been occupied by a family member ever since.

Cris was the director of the day care ministry at church for awhile growing very close to many of the children and their families and now works at a retirement community.  John is a supervisor and is the favorite uncle to our 12 nieces and nephews whom we both love to death!  They are all so unique and special in their own ways.  As you can see, your baby will have lots of cousins to play with.  We have a strong desire to become parents and dream of the day it will become a reality.  We have lots of love to share with your child and would be thrilled if you would consider us to raise your baby.

We are simple people who enjoy spending time with family and friends, hanging out at home, tinkering around in the garden or barn…and we love to have fun.  Church is an important part of our lives and we are active in the one that we attend.  We are not wealthy, but are honest and hard working people who consider ourselves to be financially stable.  We will provide your child with everything he or she needs and more!

We are trusting God for His perfect plan for us and for you.  Seek Him and we know that He will give you comfort and peace during this time in your life.

Proverbs 3:5-6            Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.

Sincerely,

John and Cris
