Hello-

Thank you for considering adoption and choosing life for your child!  We hope that we can provide the necessary information that will help you make your decision regarding adoption.  We pray that God will continue to bless you on your journey through this chapter in your life.

Due to very high risk complicated pregnancies, we are looking to complete our family through adoption.  Adoption is very dear to our hearts - Susan comes from a family of "6" adopted children!  Our main philosophy on children is to raise them with an abundance of love, support, a "can do attitude", and let them know that they can be anything that they want to be.  We enjoy a spacious family home with plenty of room for kids to run, play and explore.  If you are looking for a *down to earth*, fun, easy going and simple life family * we are it!  We love exploring the mountains with picnic lunches, catching frogs, rock jumping, fishing, (Steven loves to try for 5 lb. "Charlie"), duck feeding  and paddle boating.  We actually met while snow skiing in upper Michigan and just "clicked".  Certainly finding your "soul-mate" is something extraordinary.  We are very "down to earth", have been married for 13 years (boy time sure flies!), and would love to have your little one join our family!  Our family life is simple, together and seemingly always adventurous!

Susan-
I worked  in the computer industry for 14 years and am very fortunate now to be home with our children.  I feel very lucky to have grown up in a family of 6 adopted children.  We were all adopted as babies (most of us are 1 year apart - abundance of diaper changes!) and grew up with a lot of self-esteem, values, love and yes- horses!  I believe that given this unique background, we will be able to help the child that we adopt with inner questions and thoughts regarding this experience.  My interests are: boating, water/snow skiing, biking, golf, tennis, volleyball, horseback riding, piano, and crafts.  I enjoy simple walks together, chocolate caramel/candy making, doing experiments with the kids, exploring, playing, helping our children become great individuals and "hanging out"!

Steven-
I am very excited to have a great opportunity for my career which enable's Susan to now stay home with our children.  We have really enjoyed what our new area has to offer.  I believe that we can provide a loving family environment for a child to experience life's trials and tribulations with us.  We look forward to the blessing of this opportunity and the lifelong enrichment that is sure to follow.  I enjoy reading to our children, playing with them - "baseball, soccer, hockey, basketball, etc..." board games, any made-up game, going for family outings, walks with Susan, golfing, biking, boating, fishing, skiing(water/snow), woodworking, and travel.

Logan, Austin and Colin would love to have a little sibling to love, protect and grow with. They enjoy playing together, snuggling, reading, skiing (and anything "sports" related), building things, chemistry, fishing, exploring, boating and hanging out with Mom and Dad.  They truly are best friends with big loving hearts.
