We want to adopt a child from Russia what adoption agency is good and have u personally used them?

I live in CA and would like to adopt from Russia, or the Ukraine has anyone used a good adoption agency they could recommend? How was your experience? What was the time line? Are they approved in Russia, how long has their program been running, if you dont have all the info, please direct me to their website and let me know if you would use them again, Thanks for the feedback!

Why Russia?
I have spent many volunteer hours with United Way and local agencies right her in the United States and I want to encourage you to look for an American child to adopt.
There are too many children her in the United Stated that need a loving family for me to see any reason to go to Russia to adopt. Your local family and children's services department should be able to arrange an adoption for you. Pretty much any age, sex, or race will be available, all you have to do is ask.
I don't have all the answers for you. But I do know my aunty adopted a brother and sister years ago after they were orphaned by chernobyl. For memory I'm not sure whether it is classified as "adoption" more like they are "foster parents", but without any relatives to contest otherwise. I'm still not sure after all these years of them being here, that the Russian governing bodies actually allow adoption legally.

Why not Russia?
Children need families wherever they are living. At least in the US, they are in foster homes, not decrepit orphanages with no hope for a future.
